Best known as the singer and songwriter for the Santa Cruz, California folk trio The Devil Makes Three, Pete Bernhard has been touring the US, Canada, and Europe for nearly 20 years. He hails from a small community in southern Vermont and a family full of musicians and artists. Immersed in music at a young age, Pete was drawn to traditional fingerpicking blues, early folk music, and the energy of the punk rock community. His solo songs draw on diverse sources in the American folk tradition, including Doc Watson, The Reverend Gary Davis, Nick Drake, Robert Johnson, and Townes Van Zandt.
Pete Bernhard has three solo releases on his record label Kahn Records.
He has toured in Europe, Canada, and the USA in support of his last record "Harmony Ascension and Division."
